Delivery and Outreach Services

BiblioBag

The Library offers delivery service for homebound residents of Emmet County. To qualify you must be a library cardholder of either Alanson Public Library, Harbor Springs Library, Mackinaw Area Public Library, or Petoskey District Library. You can get most items mailed to your home at no cost. For more information about eligibility, or the BiblioBag service,call Jodi at 231-758-3121. This service is made possible by Emmet County Senior Citizen Millage funds.

Books Broaden the View

In partnership with the Emmet County Correctional Facility, inmates at the Emmet County jail can request, by a mailed letter, delivery of two paperback books a month. The books, donated by the Friends of the Petoskey Public Library and other donors, are hand-selected by a librarian based on the inmates' preferences.

Book Buddies

The Library delivers items to Petoskey area senior living facilities every two weeks. During each visit, we bring a variety of books for browsing or you can search for yourself online using the Library catalog. Stop by the Library to sign-up, or call Mary at 231-758-3114.

Curbside service

Curbside service is available during regular Library hours. Park in front of the main door and call us at 231-758-3100 and choose the menu option for curbside.
